CLASS STRUCTURE & FEES

Our private sessions are customized and thoughtfully tailored according to the aptitude of the student, learning pace, and goals.

  • 45 minutes to an hour per session
  • ₹3,000 per class for India & the subcontinent — USD $125 per class internationally
  • Indian and subcontinent students must send a payment screenshot before class; class is automatically cancelled without it

ONLINE LEARNING

All classes are conducted live via Zoom, making them accessible from anywhere in the world.

Students will:

  • Interact directly in real-time sessions

RECORDINGS & MATERIALS

Each class includes:

  • Access to session recordings
  • Reference materials for practice
  • Continued learning support

Even if you miss a class, you can always revisit the lesson.

Pre-requisites for Classes

To get the most out of your lessons, please have the following set up before your first class:

  • A violin set up with viola strings, tuned D–A–D–A (no E string)
  • A laptop for attending Zoom classes
  • The iTabla Pro app on an iPad or iPhone, or an equivalent tanpura–tabla app for Android, connected via Bluetooth to a speaker so the tanpura and tabla are clearly audible during practice
  • Zoom’s “Original Sound for Musicians” turned on, so echo cancellation and noise suppression are disabled and your music sounds natural during class

Attendance, Cancellations & Recordings

  • For no-shows, the class fee is non-refundable
  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time; the class may then be rescheduled
  • For masterclasses, you may stream the recording for one month; downloading is not permitted. After one month the recording is archived and can be re-released on request for a fee of $5.99
  • If we experience technical difficulties on our side, an alternate class will be scheduled at no extra charge
